Connecting science, natural resources and human health
The Congress brought together researchers, university professors, healthcare professionals, students and specialists to exchange knowledge and discuss the future of balneology in modern healthcare.
Organized by Chemistry and Human Health, founded by Marine Shavlakadze, it established a collaborative platform for research, education and international cooperation in balneology, rehabilitation medicine, natural therapeutic resources and public health.

The programme explored how Georgia’s mineral and thermal resources can support evidence-based healthcare, rehabilitation, public health and sustainable development.
Workshop & scientific lecture
From water quality assessment to therapeutic potential
Prof. Tamriko Supatashvili
The practical workshop, Quality of Mineral and Thermal Waters: Challenges and Opportunities, introduced modern approaches to water quality assessment.
It was complemented by the lecture Hydrochemical Characterization and Therapeutic Properties of Sairme Mineral Water.
